LSDREAM And CloZee Team Up On Self-Titled Collaborative Album, 'LSZEE'

Bass music icons LSDREAM and CloZee embark on a new journey with the release of their first joint album under the alias LSZEE.

As they’re two of bass music’s most beloved artists, the announcement of a collaboration between LSDREAM and CloZee in December 2023 had the internet ablaze with excitement. Dubbing themselves LSZEE, the pair emerged as one of the most in-demand headliners in the scene. Fresh off a packed-out debut at Electric Forest, LSZEE spent the summer headlining prominent music festivals and releasing singles from their impending album, giving fans a taste of the project.

Ahead of their October 5-6 Red Rocks debut, LSZEE have released their highly anticipated self-titled album around which they built their live show. Featuring 13 tracks, the body of work sees the producers’ vision come to life as they weave their distinct styles into a cohesive work of art.

The intro, “EMPYRE, Pt. 1,” sets the tone for the spellbinding tracks ahead, while “EMPYRE, Pt. 2” is the first showing of how perfectly the two artists’ styles blend. CloZee’s world music influence is displayed through the tracks “NIGHTHAWK” and “Chrysalis,” which feature tribal chanting over captivating basslines. Vibrant singles “French Dream” and “SLAY” shine through with an uplifting and playful energy as opposed to the dark and mysterious bass of “ALTR.”

While the album marks the first collaboration between LSDREAM and CloZee, former LSDREAM collaborators Born I and Taylr Renee also appear on the album. The calming spirit of “Mother Earth” sees Renee lend her vocal talents as the listener explores their connection with nature. In juxtaposition, the powerful and anthemic “DESTINY” with Born I layers inspiring lyrics overtop the producers’ classic elements making it a festival-ready hit.
